I am running a mailing package business and using Sendy to send mails to my targeted lists. Now when I give the user access to the sendy install to check his reports, he can view / download my preciously collected list. Is there an option to hide a master list so that it's not visible to the user?

can you explain me how you realized the optin form on sendy.co on the bottom. That would be very helpful. I love the fact, that after the optin only the message appears and there is no redirection to a new site.

API error message: Some fields are missing.
I am combining the Sendy name and email fields with another form on my site, and doing a silent post to my sendy/subscribe url. The form is filled out but submitting returns the error message from sendy "Some Fields are Missing" These are the fields I am using in the form:
input type="text" name="name"
input type="text" name="email"
Any idea what the problem might be?

How to increase # of email per hour
Hi,
I hava a VPS with following specs. 100GB HDD 3GB Ram 100Mb/s BW 8 cores CPU.
Currently, I set the cron to run every minute and the maximum rate I can get is about 5000 emails / hour. I used htop to monitor the VPS and found that only half of RAM and partial CPU (about 5%). Sometimes 4 cores of the CPU reaches 70% ...
I think my VPS can be utilized to increase the # of mails / hour but I do not know how to tweak the config of server and scripts.
Anybody please share your success to help me and others to get best use of the VPS.

How to run Sendy in one VPS but send emails from EC2
Hi everybody, I am now seeking the way to do following scenario.
I have one VPS to keep the scripts run 24/24; however, I would like to run it also on EC2 to send mail quickly.
Reason: There are a lot of cheap VPSs to run the script; however, sending email with such VPSs are slow as their datacenter are far away from Amazon SMTP server location. I just think about the case can we open up an EC2 when we need to send emails and destroy it when the work done.
Please share me the solution if you have idea or you had deployed the same scenario before.

in your reply to bauchau you said that "The last test campaign I sent a week ago to 10,000 emails..." How is it possible to send a test campaign to 10000 emails ? I mean, don't you need 10000 real email addresses ?

Quota zero and SES shows try again later.
Hello, I'm using Sendy for few months now, but suddenly something happened and my quota is now 0 and I have this nasty ornage sing:
"Verify that your AWS credentials are correct. If you're certain they're correct and are still seeing zeros in your quota, your server clock is out of sync. To fix this, Amazon requires you to sync your server clock with NTP. Request your host to do so if you're unsure."
When I go to Amazon SES it says "The Verified Senders list cannot be displayed currently. Please try again in a few minutes."
How to check if my NTS is correct and what else to do to fix this issue? Can I send some emails now when my quota shows "0", is this just from my side or its because of Amazon SES?

Blank screen when creating a brand
After filling out brand information and click 'save', it went to a blank page.
I already tried the method in http://forum.sendy.co/discussion/188/blank-page-configuring-first-brand/p1 but it does not work.

Added Security
Over the weekend, my COLO server was very aggressively attacked from Spammers via my Wordpress Installs. I quickly installed "Better WP Security" and "Bad Behaviour" (w/ the Honey Pot project) plugins
Now I'm paranoid.
Does anyone have any advice on how to better secure our Sendy.co installs?

install problem. Instead of login page, installation url redirects to my server's PhpMyAdmin
I am trying to install Sendy on Dreamhost following setting up guide. Created a DB and edited config.php accordingly. Then uploaded Sendy on a directory within my domain's main folder, where I have 3 WordPress installs. (The installation url being a subdomain: http://sendy.my-domain.org) I had to manually upload the htacess file which was hidden and not uploaded together with the rest of the Sendy files.
When I clicked http://sendy.my-domain.org in orther to install Sendy, I was redirected to http:/my-domain.org/dh_phpmyadmin/sendy.my-domain.org/
I followed your advice and tried to access http://sendy.my-domain.org/_compatibility.php?i=1 and that too redirected me to MyPhpAdmin.
I did some research on this forum and saw a response by Sendy support about htaccess file may be conflicting with Wordpress's .htaccess: "Do you have Wordpress installed one directory above Sendy? If so, I suspect Sendy's .htaccess file may be conflicting with Wordpress's .htaccess. I have experience with some other users with a similar issue.
I then erased the directory I had uploaded within my domain's main folder where I actually had a htaccess file above Sendy's directory. Instead I uploaded it again at root level. Still, when I clicked http://sendy.my-domain.org in orther to install Sendy, I was redirected to http:/my-domain.org/dh_phpmyadmin/sendy.my-domain.org/
Any idea what could be wrong?

How to find how many people have opened my autoresponder from the database?
I'm making an app that ties in with Sendy. I used the official API where I could, but many things I wanted to do weren't covered. So, I am making PHP scripts to pull the data I want out of the SQL database.
Currently, I'm trying to find how many people have opened my autoresponder.
It's easy enough to find how many it was sent to - in the recipients column of the ares_emails table there is just a plain number. Great!
But now I want to find how many opened it. The next column over, opens, seems to be what I want.
But here's what it says:

Repeating a campaign send
How can I setup a repeat campaign?
The schedule will allow me to send once but I'm looking to send the same campaign on a regular basis. The campaign in question is a gentle reminder that a certain event is happening the day after (a cardio tennis class) and I would like to send it every week without creating a new campaign or setting up a new scheduled send each time.
Any help would be much appreciated.

SNS pending resolved
I got problem with SNS today while changing license domain. After checking firewall and several emails to Sendy support with no luck, I finally found the problem for my case. I report the solution here in case somebody having the same problem.
You should check following modules and firewall:
- curl
- php5-curl (this also for the case your site is not shown)
- not sure (php5-imap)
- firewall

Installation won't proceed if there is .htaccess file
*If I include the .htaccess file during installation I got this error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
*Now I tried to delete the .htaccess file, installing sendy without it and the installation was successful.
*But I have a problem without .htaccess file. Every time I navigate to settings and other options and buttons
*I have url error appear, this is the error:
Not Found
The requested URL /dir/new-brand was not found on this server.
*I resolve the error by manually adding a .php at the end of the url every time I open or click a link.
*It wont automatically add .php extension file format to open the url correctly.
*And then I put back the .htaccess file after the installation thinking that it would be ok but still I got the same
*error "Internal Server Error"
*I need help this prob is frustrating seems I just miss something very simple troubleshooting.
